They  can talk about many things, but repeating themes are good places to eat, Marcello Bielsa, Diebenkorn, Bill Callahan, flatness, oil mediums, linen or canvas, scale, stretchers, brushes, being organised, being chaotic and the merits of the overlapping fullback.
