The Written Word

A group exhibition of artists and makers who incorporate text in their work. The show includes printmaking, painting, textiles, collage and 3-dimensional pieces which use language, letterforms and the written word in all its diverse forms to express ideas.
October - December 2023
The artists and makers in the show have written, printed, painted, typed, engraved and scored words into pages and old ledgers, labelled objects and even constructed a typewriter from printed paper in order to celebrate the written word.
